Pioneer Farms is a registered historic site and living history park in Austin, Texas, offering visitors a chance to step back into 19th century Texas at more than a dozen restored farmstead and native homesites, a rural village, family-friendly events and activities, nature trails and engaging exhibits displaying Lone Star history from 1899 to 1839. Located on nearly 100 bucolic tree-shaded acres at 10621 Pioneer Farms Dr, Austin, TX 78754, the museum provides unique historical programs, Texas Folk Arts School classes and workshops in blacksmithing and other 1800s crafts, family friendly events, volunteer opportunities and more that celebrate Texas heritage and frontier life in a serene outdoor setting located near downtown Austin. The site also features animal encounters with wildlife and livestock, including what is reputed to be the largest urban herd of Longhorn cattle in the state.

The Contemporary Austin – Jones Center is the museum’s downtown Austin location for contemporary art, featuring rotating exhibitions by artists from around the world, Jim Hodges’ "With Liberty and Justice for All (A Work in Progress)," an outdoor public art mural installation, and the Moody Rooftop, offering visitors opportunities to experience contemporary art both inside and out.

The Contemporary Austin – Laguna Gloria is a 14-acre lakeside campus where art, nature, and history come together. Home to the Betty and Edward Marcus Sculpture Park, the historic Driscoll Villa, and the museum’s Art School, Laguna Gloria offers visitors the opportunity to experience contemporary art in a unique outdoor setting along the shores of Lake Austin.

The Neill-Cochran House Museum historic site is home to one of the city's oldest residences (1856) and the only intact slave dwelling left in Austin. A few minutes' walk from UT-Austin, the Museum shares Austin history through the eyes of those who lived it through historically furnished spaces as well as numerous rotating art and history exhibitions.

The UMLAUF Sculpture Garden + Museum is a serene outdoor space with an indoor gallery in Austin, Texas.
